I'm Vanessa. I fell in love with a French man 30 years ago. Travelled until I was in my 30's and with two kids in tow, we chose France as our nest.

Ile de Ré, La Rochelle country side, a move to the UK until we found our 'forever home' here in La Rochelle city center a few years ago.

You can come and stay in Escale Rochelaise year-round. Depending on the date will depend what is available. Two choices :

"Private room" without breakfast

"Vacation home" where you have the keys and the home is yours

The spa and sauna in the ZEN DEN are open year round and available to everyone. Spa is heated to 38,5° and delicious in the winter. The sauna gives you a Finnish experience and for those that dare - a cold bucket challenge awaits!! or if you are like me, an outdoor standard shower is just fine!

A little tip, if you do not see availability, check-out another format as chances are, you'll find something there.

Choose one of our five unique, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The smallest is already 27 m²!

Arrival and departure are fully autonomous, at the time that suits you. No schedules, no constraints. A rare luxury today.

All year round, enjoy the garden and relaxation area. A true green sanctuary through the seasons.

The Nordic hot tub, heated to 39°C, and the cedar barrel sauna are yours to enjoy unlimited, included with every booking. A real treat, as I like to say!

In this autonomous stay, breakfast is not included, nor is access to the kitchen. But don’t worry, we’re right in the heart of the city, just a two-minute walk from numerous restaurants and cafés where every meal, breakfast included, can be savored.

For longer stays, your room will be refreshed after 3 consecutive nights, always at your pace, if you wish.
